Changing Things

The man at the top of the mountain didn’t just fall there. In today’s world of instant gratification, we often forget how slowly a garden grows, how much educa

At first, it’s easy to feel disappointed when we don’t see immediate results from changes like choosing different friends, eating healthier, or embracing sobriety. Patience is essential. It took years to reach a breaking point, and it will take time and effort to turn things around. Just like cleaning a messy home or rearranging furniture, it doesn’t happen in seconds—it can take hours or even days. Be calm and patient with yourself. One good decision leads to another, and gradually life begins to shift and clear. Focus on what you can control, and hand the rest over to time or a higher power.
